The number of holiday destinations available Leeside contines to grow.
Low cost airline Volotea has announced a new direct route from Cork to Verona will be added to the summer schedule.
The flights will be available to book on the airlines website very shortly, and the service will begin next June.
It comes on foot of foot of a recent World Routes Aviation Event attended by a team from Cork Airport - who met with a number of airlines to discuss potential opportunities for the region.
Speaking to RedFM News Communications Manager at Cork Airport Kevin Cullinane says there is a proven demand for flights to and from Italy.
