Homelessness figures continue to climb Leeside
The figure for families living in Emergency Accommodation in Cork is now at an all time high.
Monthly figures released by the Department of Housing shows that there are now 269 people homeless in the South West Region.
The figures which cover Cork and Kerry show that there are now 106 children living in temporary accommodation, that's up from 91 in December.
Cork Simon say the figures confirm the housing crisis and unaffordable rents continues to push families into homelessness.
Speaking to RedFM News Paul Sheehan from Cork Simon says the number of families in difficulty Leeside, continues to climb:
