Homelessness in Ireland is a real problem and a deepening crisis
That's according to Focus Ireland who say the crisis is going to get worse until the housing situation is sorted out.
The charity has been holding it's Great Get Together campaign over the weekend encouraging people to get together and host events in a bid to raise funds for its services.
Figures show there's been a 17% in crease in famialy homelessness with almost 10,000 homeless people across the country.
Last year Focus Ireland helped over 14,000 who were homeless or at risk of losing their home and secured 700 homeless families secure a home.
Speaking to RedFM News, Rebecca Reynolds of Focus Ireland says demand for their services is on the rise.
