Homes evacuated and road closures in place after overnight blaze in Ballinacurra
30 firefighters battled an overnight blaze in Ballinacurra old Grainstore. Power supply to some households has been cut.
11 units from Midleton, Youghal, Cobh, Kantruk and Cork City atteneded the scene.
Surrounding homes were evacuated and power supply has been cut to a number of houses.
Investigations are continuining however it's expected fire fighters will remain at the scene for most of the morning and afternoon.
Traffic diversions are also in place. The main St is closed and traffic coming from Midleton and Cloyne will be diverted through Scarriff.
