Householders Struggle To Make Ends Meet
A new survey shows Irish people are cutting back on luxury spending. According to a new AA poll of more than 9,000 people,almost 57 per-cent of those surveyed can't afford to go on holiday this year. And when asked in March how they would budget for the Local Property Tax 52 per-cent would scrap the purchase of new home entertainment equipment, while 46 per-cent would cut out non-essential household bills such as their digital TV package. And more than 48 per-cent would axe home improvements.
