The Housing Minister says he can't tell landlords not to sell their properties.
Eoghan Murphy claims he'd like to stop renters from being evicted when their homes are sold.
But he's warning our laws shouldn't put people off taking in tenants.
Housing charities are angry over the latest figures which show that more than 8-thousand people are now in emergency accommodation.
