Minister Eoghan Murphy is in Cork this morning to visit several housing projects across the city and county.
The Housing Minister will visit the Knocknaheeny Regeneration project where 29 new homes are due for completion at the end of October, as well as Gerald Griffith St. where 41 homes are expected to be completed by 2020.
He will also visit a Turnkey construction project in Carrigtwohill, where 29 family homes are nearing completion.
Minister Murphy will officially open an innovative housing project in Bishopstown that offers supported accommodation for young adults who were homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The new 39 bed facility in Bishopsgrove will give young people the opportunity for independent living, and the chance at a third level education.
