HSE: 7,000 Outpatient Appointments A Day Still Being Cancelled Due To Cyber Attack

It says there's "unimaginable stress, strain and duress" being caused across the health service following the hack
Progress is being made in restoring some services - including cancer and maternity care - but there's still widespread disruption.
HSE Chief Operations Officer, Anne O'Connor, says it'll take time to assess the full impact:
"At a high level, if you were to look at the big numbers: outpatients normally 14,000 a day. So, we know that we're, at best, about 50%. We would have been even less than that, up until a few days ago, so we are losing easily about 7,000 a day in outpatients. But when you look across the board, unfortunately because we don't have any systems in some areas, they don't even know what we don't know. We don't have anything that tells us what we're not doing."
