"HSE Made No Meaningful Response To Request For Establishment Of Paid Patient Advocacy Programme"

That's according to Cork Cervical Check campaigner Stephen Teap
Cork Cervical Check campaigner Stephen Teap says the HSE has made no meaningful response to a request for the establishment of a paid patient advocacy programme.
Stephen's wife Irene died of cervical cancer on this day in 2017 after two misread smears.
The request for the programme was sent to the HSE on April 4th, however the group says the request was ignored.
A plan to fund an advocate through the 2-2-1+ support group or the Irish Cancer Society has been rejected by campaigners
The Department of Health said it is considering how to encourage people in their 30s, 40s and 50s to take part in representative structures.
