HSE To Launch Formal Investigation Into Consultants' Contracts

The move follows last night's revelations on Prime Time
The HSE is launching formal investigations into consultants’ contracts following last night's Prime Time.
The programme found that some doctors wrongly spend more time on private rather than public patients.
The Health Minister described the behaviour as "brazen, immoral and unfair" and said we can't have a situation where people are paid for hours and don't do them.
But Sinn Fein says Simon Harris has shown no appetite to tackle the problem of consultants working more private than public hours.
