HSE Working To Contact Around 520 Patients Whose Data Appeared Online After Cyber Attack

In statement the Health Service Executive says sensitive information about patients has been shared, along with minutes of meetings
The leak of this information has been previously reported and the HSE it's not aware of any further attempts to publish the data.
Technology Correspondent Jess Kelly says it may take some time for patients to be contacted:
"So if you are one of the 520 patients impacted by this part of the data breach, the HSE will get in contact with you. It's going to take them a bit of time. They're saying that they need to verify each of the patient's information; they have to cross reference a lot of information so the HSE will contact you if you are one of the 520 patients. The thing with the dark web is it's not part of the internet that you, or anyone listening to this, will just stumble upon. It is an entirely different part of the internet and the issue is that the people who do frequent it are cybercriminals."
