Huge Support For Vera Twomey in Dublin Last Night

Hundreds turned out in support of Cork medicinal cannabis campaigner Vera Twomey outside the Dáil last night.

The Aghabullogue woman mounted another protest outside Leinster House last evening as she says she is being ignored by the Health Minister.

The  Aghabullogue  woman has been calling for legislation for medicinal cannabis for her seven-year-old daughter Ava who suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and needs the drug to help alleviate her seizures.

The family's application for a special exemption for  CBD cannabis oil for Ava has been rejected as they cannot get a pediatric neurologist to sign off on it.

Cork's RedFM were there as she left Government buildings and she said Health Minister Simon Harris wouldn't meet with her:
