Ian Bailey says he sympathises with the family of Sophie Toscan du Plantier

But he has once again insisted he had nothing to do with her death

He was speaking after a High Court judge refused the latest attempt to have him extradited to France where he's wanted to stand trial.

Mr. Bailey was arrested twice in the years that followed the discovery of her body in west Cork in 1996, but has never been charged.

With that in mind, he says he can’t understand why her family still thinks he's responsible.
