IKEA looks for possible location in Cork for new store

Swedish furniture giant IKEA is currently looking for a location for a store in Cork.
It's been reported in todays Evening Echo that representatives for the multinational have held meetings with senior officials in Cork County Council on possible locations in the cork region.
It would be IKEA’s third store in Ireland with outlets currently located in Ballymun and Carrickmines.
Lat year was the company's best financial year in Ireland since it opened in 2009 with pre-tax profits of €13.1 million.
Previously, locations such as Blarney, Mallow or the Amgen site in Carrigtwohill have been mentioned as possible locations for an IKEA store in Cork.
