Increase in calls to Women's Aid Helpline following murder/suicide

There's been an increase in the number of women calling Women's Aid helpline since the murder suicide of the Hawe family in Co Cavan earlier this week.

Alan Hawe, his wife Clodagh and his three sons - aged 13, 11 and 6 were found dead in their home in Ballyjamesduff on Monday.

Gardai are treating their deaths as murder suicide.
