Indaver Given Until Oct 3rd To Answer Queries To An Bord Pleanala On Incinerator

An Bord Pleanala has given waste management company Indaver until October 3rd to respond to more queries on a planned incinerator in Cork Harbour.
This is Indaver's third application for a €160 million euro facility in Ringaskiddy, and the planning authority wants the company to answer a number of questions that arose following their submission in July.
A date for decision on the plant has been deferred six times, with October the 25th the latest due date for a decision.
The Cork Harbour for A Safe Environment group, have long been campaigning against plans by waste management company Indaver to build an incinerator in the Lower Harbour.
Speaking to RedFM News CHASE spokesperson Linda Fitzpatrick says the community are more determined than ever despite constant delays on a final decision:
