Indaver may reapply if plans for Incinerator refused

The waste management company behind plans for a €160 million incinerator in Ringaskiddy hasn't ruled out reapplying for planning if its current bid is refused.

Indaver Ireland's planning application is currently being reviewed by An Bord Pleanála following an oral hearing last year which attracted hundreds of protesters. 

220 submissions were made at the hearing including those made by Fine Gael's Simon Coveney and Fianna Fáil's Mícheal Martin.

A decision on the planned incinerator has been delayed three times.

When asked if he would reapply for planning for an incinerator in Ringaskiddy if the current planning application is refused Managing Director of Indaver Ireland John Ahern told RedFM News that he won't make a decision on that just yet - but he's not ruling it out:
