Independent Broadcasters Welcome Publication Of Legislation

The Independent Broadcasters of Ireland have welcomed the publication of a draft broadcasting legislation.
The Independent Radio Stations Bill published by Fianna Fail has been described as a significant step forward for the survival of independent radio.
It comes following a campaign from the IBI for the recognition of the public service contribution of independent radio who have called for the creation of a fund to support
the provision of news, current affairs and information programming on independent radio
Speaking to RedFM News, John Purcell of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland says there's no time to waste and the government need to step in:
