Industrial Action Means A Curtailed SouthDoc Service Will Be In Operation Across Cork Tonight Until 8am

Up to 60 drivers and administrators at SouthDoc, who are members of SIPTU will walk off the job in Cork and Kerry this evening

It's over a row over the HSE's refusal to honour a Workplace Relations Comission agreement to reverse pay cuts.

SouthDoc says no patient will be left untreated tonight as SIPTU will provide a staff member at the overnight centres however delays can be expected when trying to make contact through the Call centre. The treatment centres at Clonakility, Skibbereen, Macroom  Kanturk and Blackpool will also be closed

The Medical Director of SouthDoc Dr Gary Stack told RedFM News that contingency plans have been put in place to minimise disruption and doctors will be seeing patients tonight
