Industrial Action Which Affected The SouthDoc Service Overnight Has Come To An End

Up to 60 drivers and administrators at SouthDoc, who are members of SIPTU walked off the job in Cork and Kerry last night
It was over a row over the HSE's refusal to honour a Workplace Relations Comission agreement to reverse pay cuts
The action led to the closure of the treatment centres in Clonakilty, Skibbereen, Macroom, Kanturk and Blackpool, house calls could not be facilitated and there were delays in getting through to the overnight Call Centres
SouthDoc's Medical Director Dr Gary Stack told RedFM News that typically Friday's at the service are not as busy as the weekends
