Infrastructure across Cork must be drastically improved in order to fully realise business potential in the city

That's according to IBEC who are calling on the Government to heavily invest in projects such as improving the Dunkettle Interchange, and the Cork Limerick motorway
Cork has the largest road network in the country, with over 12,500 km, but funding for maintenance of these roads has fallen dramatically from €65 million euro in 2008 to €29.5 million euro in 2016.
As Cork Businesses prepare for Brexit, IBEC says the need for investment in transport infrastructure is crucial in order to attract businesses and create jobs.
Speaking to RedFM News IBEC CEO Danny McCoy says the Government must solve the infrastructure problems.
