INMO calls for more beds and staff at the Cork University Hospital

The union says there are not enough staff to cater for the number of patients coming into CUH and unless the issue is resolved the crisis will not improve
The INMO says there simply aren't enough beds and staff in Cork University Hospital.
The union has hit out after the trolley crisis showed no signs of abating this week with more than 500 awaiting beds on a number of days last week.
Leeside Cork University Hospital had the hightest number of people awaiting trolleys for most of the week.
A meeting was held between the INMO and the HSE on Thursday night where nurses gave health officials a week to come up with a plan to avert an all out strike in our hospitals.
Speaking to RedFM News Mary Rose Carroll of the INMO says the government needs to face up to the realities of the situation.
