Inquiry into ticketing scandal to take 12 weeks

A retired judge will lead the Inquiry into the Olympic ticketing scandal.

Sport Minister Shane Ross met with the Attorney General this afternoon and decided a judge-led, statutory inquiry would be the most appropriate mechanism to establish the facts.

The judge will be appointed next week and is expected to take 12 weeks.
