The travel hub is also working on introducing routes to a number of new European destinations
A Cork - New York route is one of Cork Airport's top priorities and it's hoped it will become a viable route in the next two to three years.
Management at Cork Airport say they're continually working on expanding their transatlantic offering.
It comes as the airport prepares for another year of growth with 2.6 million passengers expected to pass through the gates of Cork Airport.
