Investigation Launched After Discovery Of Body In Co. Clare

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the body of a young man, believed to be from Cork, was recovered from the sea in Co Clare yesterday.
The alarm was raised at around 8.15am yesterday when emergency services received a report of a body in the water close to the beach in Kilkee.
The body of the 22-year-old was located a short time later by Kilkee Coast Guard and his remains were taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post mortem examination.
Gardaí are investigating the discovery but it's understood the man may have fallen into the water during the night.
