Investigation Launched After Hoax Email Sent To Students
CIT Students Union say an email falsely claiming a case of Coronavirus had been diagnosed at a student apartment complex close to the Institute was circulating.
The Union say they contacted management at Parchment Square on the Model Farm Road who confirmed there is no case of the virus at the accommodation centre.
A spokesperson for CIT told RedFM News that they are treating the email as a fabrication.
