Investigation launched after man stabbed on Patrick St.

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man was attacked and stabbed in the head in Patrick St this afternoon.
It's understood a man in his late 20s was injured following an altercation with another man outside the Savoy at 3.45pm.
It's been confirmed to RedFM News that the man has been taken to Cork University Hospital where his injuries have been described as not life threatening.
Gardai are examining CCTV footage in a bid to identify the culprit while they have also cordoned off the area for a technical examination.
The main street has not been closed however delays are being experienced in the area.
