Investigation launched after photos emerged of a dolphin carcass being thrown around during a student party in Cork
The images which were taken in Parchment Square student accommodation complex in Model Farm Road have sparked outrage
It's understood the men in the pictures were not students.
RedFM is awaiting a response from the management company at the complex.
It's unknown how the animal died or how it ended up in the hands of the party goers however speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM John Carmody of Animal Rights Action Network says they're planning to fully investigate the incident:
