Investigations continue into deaths of Carlow brothers

carlow Post mortem examinations will be carried out today on the bodies of two young brothers who were found dead in Co Mayo yesterday. 10-year old Eoghan Chada and his five year old brother Ruairi had not been seen since leaving their home in Ballinkillen in Co Carlow on Sunday, with their father Sanjeev. A Child Rescue Alert was issued yesterday and the two brothers were found dead in a car that crashed near Westport. It's understood the boys did not die from injuries sustained in the crash. Their father Sanjeev is being treated for minor injuries in hospital. Parish Priest in Bagnelstown, Fr Declan Foley, knows the Chada family well and says the boys mother, Kathleen, is suffering "immeasurable" grief: (Click above for audio)
