Investigations continue into deaths of elderly Mayo couple

Investigations are continuing into the deaths of an elderly couple in County Mayo.
The remains of Tom Fitzgerald, who was in his 70s and his wife Kitty, who was aged in her 60s, were discovered at their home in Irishtown.
Emergency services attended the scene yesterday afternoon, and the couple was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 30s who was also found injured at the scene was taken to University College Hospital Galway for treatment.
