Ireland misses out on Eurovision final

Ireland has missed out on a place in the Eurovision Grand Final.
Leslie Roy performed her song Maps in the first of this week's semi-finals in Rotterdam last night.
Despite being well received by the audience, the Dubliner failed to get the required number of votes.
10 out of 16 countries advanced to Saturday's final.
Former Eurovision winner, Charlie McGettigan, says it's disappointing Ireland won't be there.
"I thought the presentation was very low key compared to the rest of the countries.
"I thought it would have been better if she had a band around her or something like that - but one girl going through backdrops and bits and pieces just didn't cut it.
"She's a lovely girl, I've met her a few times, and I'm sorry she didn't progress."
