Ireland South Recount In European Elections May Be Completed By The Weekend

There are now 130 people available to count the European Election votes at Nemo GAA Club and 20 to supervise

The full recount in the Ireland South Constituency at Nemo Rangers GAA Club could be completed by the weekend

Sinn Fein requested the recount last Thursday when former presidential candidate Liadh Ní Riada trailed the Green Party's Grace O'Sullivan in the European Elections

Gardaí have been providing 24-hour cover since Thursday to secure the ballot papers at Nemo

It's now hoped that the recount will take less time than originally thought as there are now 130 people available to count and 20 to supervise, so it could be finished by the weekend.
