Ireland's First Zero Carbon Passenger Bus Made Its First Journey In Cork This Afternoon

As of June this year Ireland will no longer purchase traditional diesel fuel public buses and it's hoped this type of bus will be one of the alternatives.
It comes ahead of large scale plans to grow the city over the coming decades with up to 5,000 additional jobs in the city, and it's hoped the dependency on public transport will grow as the population does.
Speaking to RedFM News Michelle O'Sullivan of Cork Chamber of Commerce and chair of the Energy Cork sub transport group says it's vital that single occupancy movements are reduced in an environmentally friendly way:
