Irish Blood Transfusion Service issue appeal for donations

"There's always a need for blood, and there is no substitute"
That's the message from the Irish Blood Transfusion Clinic who have issued an appeal for blood donation.
A special donation clinic has been set up at City Hall this week and is running until Thursday will all safety measures in place to protect staff an donors.
Speaking to RedFM News Donor Services Manager Maureen Gill-Emerson says many hospital services were postponed as a result of COVID19 and as operations resume more blood will be needed - Press PLAY
