Irish Cancer society launches new campaign today

New figures reveal 1 in two of us will get cancer by 2020.
The Irish Cancer Society has launched a new campaign today via social media telling people to 'Get' Cancer.
The charity admits people have been startled and upset by the starkness of the message but says it aims to help people get talking about the disease and to understand that early diagnosis is key.
Head of Communications - Grainne O'Rourke - says the ad has to be hard-hitting because cancer is hard-hitting:
