Irish Navy Boat to Return Today After Migrant Rescue Mission

Another Irish navy boat will return back to Haulbowline from a rescue mission in the Mediterranean today.

The L.E. James Joyce was sent to help migrants trying to cross into Europe in July.

It followed the L.E. Roisin which began its work in May.

Irish crews, which have been spending three month rotations in the Mediterranean, have saved more than 10,000 lives so far.
