Irish Nurses And Midwives Organisation Say Government Will Have To Step In If There Is A Major Coronavirus Outbreak Here

The union say emergency departments are already overcrowded
The union say acute hospitals like CUH are prepared to treat patients with the virus, however they have raised concerns about a potential influx of people presenting at the hospital.
The HSE say the risk of contracting the virus in Ireland is low and are advising anyone who develops symptoms such as a fever, shortness of breath or trouble breathing to contact their GP before seeking medical attention in person.
