Irish Olympic Heroes en route to Cork

Olympic silver medalists Paul and Gary O'Donovan return Leeside this evening and will receive a heroes welcome on arrival at Cork airport
Irish Olympic Heroes Paul and Gary O'Donovan return Leeside this evening.
The duo took silver in the men's lightweight double sculls at the Rio Games while Paul was victorious yesterday winning gold in the single sculls at the World Rowing Championships in the Netherlands.
The brothers alongside fellow members of the Irish rowing Team are to receive a heroes welcome at Cork airport tonight when they arrive from Rotterdam at around 9:30pm.
However, there won't be a media conference like the rest of the Olympic team on arrival at Dublin Airport, as the brothers' big homecoming is in Skibbereen tomorrow.
Kevin Cullinane, Head of Communications at Cork Airport, says the excitement is building.
