Irish People Splash Out For Valentines

Irish people aren't afraid of splashing the cash on Valentines day. A new survey shows that across five EU countries, Irish people will spend the most money to show their love, forking out around 886 euro on a romantic break. Lastminute.com found spending here is 17 percent higher than in romance re-nowned France (756 euro). Germans come in third place at 739 euro, followed by Italians who splash around 609 euro on get-aways and Spanish people who are more thrifty spending an average of 564 euro on romantic Valentines Day trips.
