Irish Rail Employees To Vote On Strike Action

Irish Rail drivers will be balloted for industrial action in a long running dispute over working conditions at the company.

It's after talks between SIPTU, the NBRU and management at the company broke down at the Work Place Relations Commission yesterday.

In a statement SIPTU says the decision to ballot drivers was made after management refused to engage in a talks process recommended by the Labour Court.
