Irish Rail Facing Calls For Dedicated Transport Police To Deal With Drug Use On Cork Trains

The NBRU have expressed concern over the dangers experienced by customer service reps dealing with anti-social behaviour
The call comes as Irish Rail say they have increased the number of security patrols by a third following an increase in anti-social behaviour on their services.
They also say they've upped their interaction with Gardaí to better respond to incidents on trains.
Speaking to RedFM News, Dermot O'Leary from the NBRU says more steps need to be taken to better protect train service staff:
