Irish Rail willing to return to talks with unions to avoid further strike action

InterCity, Commuter and DART rail services have resumed after a three hour stoppage this morning.
Irish Rail says it is willing to return to talks with train drivers in an effort to avoid further strike action at the company.
DART, Commuter and InterCity rail services have resumed after a three hour stoppage this morning.
However it may be some time before schedules are back to normal.
Today's dispute follows the breakdown of lengthy talks between Irish Rail and drivers who are represented by both SIPTU and the NBRU.
Barry Kenny from Irish Rail says there are still a number of unresolved issues.
However he says they are happy to return to talks at the Workplace Relations Commission:
