Irish students killed after balcony collapse in California

It's understood five people have been killed and up to 8 people have been critically injured following the incident in Berkeley.
A number of Irish students have been killed after a balcony collapsed in Berkeley, California.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has expressed his heartfelt sympathy at the deaths and has confirmed that a number of others have been injured
in the incident.
It's understood five people have been killed and up to 8 people have been critically injured after the fourth floor balcony of an apartment building collapsed
on Kittridge Street near the University of California at around 1am local time.
A number of Irish J1 students are living in the building.
Minister Charlie Flanagan has described the incident as a "dreadful accident" and has activated his Department's Consular Crisis Centre to help the families of the victims.
