Irish Water has today confirmed that without any standing charge the price of water per litre will increase The admission comes amid continued protests in four housing estates across the city.... Residents from Ashbrook Heights, Fernwood Crescent, and Palmbury in Togher along with Elm Vale in Wilton are vowing to continue their fight against the installation of water meters in their estates.... Head of Communications at Irish Water, Elizabeth Arnett was today quizzed on whether people might have to pay above the predicted average bill of €240 a year.
