Irish Water Customers To Receive 'Cheque In The Post' By End Of Year

The government says there will be a "cheque in the post" for all Irish water customers with repayments for the water tax complete by the end of the year.
An online portal will be launched for Irish water account holders to check the status of their payment and most households won't have to do anything.
However those who've moved home will have to get in touch.
Minister Eoghan Murphy says an effective system has been put in place.
