Irish Water Is Considering Ending The Hosepipe Ban Early For Some Parts Of The Country
It follows above average levels of rainfall in recent weeks
A water conservation order's been in force nearly a month, following the driest May in 170 years.
The utility will make a decision after meeting with forecasters and officials from the EPA and OPW on Monday and Tuesday.
But Irish Water senior engineer Tom Cuddy says supplies in many rural areas aren't recovering as quickly from the drought:
