Irish Water Monitors Water Levels During Heatwave
Cork County Council iis to provide a tanker of drinking water thus evening in Ballyhooley due to low pressure
Irish water says it's monitoring water levels amid reports that more than ten thousand homes could be hit with restrictions.
Cork County Council says a tanker of drinking water will be available between Lissard & Ard Abhann Estates in Ballyhooley from 6pm this evening and every evening until the current low pressure problem is resolved.
Meanwhile, temperatures are forecast to hit 30 degrees in many parts of the country today.
It will be cooler along coasts but the Irish Cancer Society says it's still important to apply good SPF and reapply regularly.
