Irish Water To Contact Over 4,000 Cork Homes & Business In Relation To Supply Problem

Irish Water is to write to 4,200 homes and businesses in Cork to inform users about problems with their supply.
The letters will go to households who get their water from 10 public water supplies.
Irish Water say potential issues have been identified in Ballyhooly and Mogeely in relation to cryptosporidium while areas such as Crookhaven, Drimoleague, Durrus Glengarrif, Kealhill, Leap, schull and Whiddy island have been affected by trihalomethanes.
Irish Water says the water remains safe to drink at each of those schemes
