Islanders call for end to water shortage problems

Islanders on Cape Clear are calling for an urgent solution to the water supply problems they're facing on the island... It's day four of water restrictions as the island’s reservoir continues to experience shortages. Water is only available from a tanker located at the South Harbour between 9am and 11.30am but Irish Water says it hopes to transport another tanker to the island by ferry today... Residents say they have been dealing with restrictions for several weeks, with the water supply being turned off in the evenings and at night since June.. Islanders say water restrictions are becoming a part of life for them every summer and at this stage they're looking for a firm long term solution to the shortages
