It's Expected The Main Disruption Caused By Storm Lorenzo In Cork Will Be Fallen Trees And Surface Flooding
A high tide advisory is also expected from 7pm with a risk of high onshore wave activity
Anyone living near coastal and waterway areas are asked to be extra cautious due to the forecasted winds.
Cork County Council say their crews and contractors remain on standby, while motorists are advised to use extreme caution on the roads and to report any fallen trees and road damage to the Council.
ESB Netorks have also advised that there may be some localised power outages.
